Tapestry is a social business and registered charity that’s committed to supporting people, helping them to remain independent and live a positive, fulfilling life. We have a 98% user satisfaction rating, and are rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
We have been around for over 68 years, helped over 350,000 people in that time, and are constantly reinventing ourselves to ensure that we can offer the best services we can – but our ethos have always remained the same; to ensure that local people and their families have the care and support they need, as and when they need it. You’ve got a choice when it comes to selecting a care provider, and we’re here to help you make an informed choice, dependant on your personal needs.
Our Core Objectives
To prevent people from going into nursing and residential care homes, especially if their current level of care means that they would be better off remaining at home. (We believe that residential and nursing homes do a good job, but are more suited for people who have multiple or complex care needs – people who need ‘just a little help’ could stop someone who really needs a care home from accessing one).
To provide personalised and tailored care to people that need practical support to maintain their independence. (We understand that everyone is unique and has their own goals, challenges and needs in life. We promise to never use a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach and know that you want a service that maximises your opportunities and works towards your individual goals and aspirations, whatever they may be.
To support the families and friends of people who need care by providing friendly, impartial advice and opportunities for them to maintain their skills and get respite from their loved ones if they feel that they need this. (Caring for a close family member or friend can be physically and emotionally demanding. We believe that nobody should be left to care for someone without advice, guidance and support).–
