We know that keeping check on our mental and emotional wellbeing is just as important as keeping ourselves physically in shape, especially if you live a hectic life. We work with other local organisations to promote the importance of good Mental Health and ensure that everyone can access services to support them.
Ways we can help:
- We work in partnership with IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), who co-locate a member of their staff at our offices for one day a week. They provide ‘Talking Therapies’ to local people who may be experiencing from a range of emotional conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression. We also work with IAPT to run Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions for people over the age of 55 at our premises in Romford. The purpose of the sessions is to teach adults on how they can prevent stress and anxiety by building emotional resilience and learn techniques; helping them better cope with stress and worry.
