All advertised prices include return coach travel and admission where applicable. Payments must be made by credit or debit cards only (this amount is non-refundable, unless the trip is cancelled by us). All tickets must be paid in full. 

Our pick-up and drop-off point is Queens Theatre, Hornchurch.

With 300 stalls set out along the town’s medieval streets and in its award-winning gardens and within historic and contemporary venues and attractions, you will need to allow extra room in your suitcase for all your Christmas shopping.

Shop for local and global produce and crafts,  set against stunning backdrops including St Edmundsbury Cathedral, The Athenaeum, the historic Abbey Gate, the medieval Moyes’s Hall and the iconic and contemporary arc shopping centre. The Abbey Gardens provides a magical atmosphere and here you will find over 100 stalls, free children’s entertainment, real reindeer, and of course Santa and his elves in his wonderful winter workshop. There’s also lots of delicious food and drink to sample including wine, waffles, cakes and cheeses. A World Market can be found on Angel Hill, the centre of Bury St Edmund’s historic medieval core, with over 100 stalls and a traditional funfair and stage with live music and entertainment throughout the day. At The Athenaeum, a beautiful historic Georgian building where the likes of Charles Dickens gave readings of his work, you can find some great handmade gifts particularly fine art, jewellery and cards. Many will be wearing exquisite period costumes adding to the effect of this wonderful building.

The award winning Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is now in its eighteenth year and gets bigger and better everytime. With over 300 stalls situated all around the historic Georgian town centre it has the perfect mix of old and new.
