Some nice pictures of the Tapestry sensory room at HOPWA Hornchurch HuB ready for action again.

Customers have missed the sensory stimulation of their senses during the lengthy lockdown. Now once again a safe and therapeutic space, the room is back in use.

Tapestry established a new food delivery service in April 2020 to support older and disabled adults in Havering during the lockdown. The healthy hot meals, made fresh daily by our chefs are delivered to the homes of isolated people, which are in great demand. During that time Tapestry has cooked and delivered over 15,000 meals, and this service continues today.

What is Social Prescribing

Tapestry and Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham are partners with the North and South Primary Care Networks in making social prescribing available in the borough. They do this through link workers.
