World Alzheimers Day on the 21 September 2021 will see Havering charity Tapestry turn its HuBs in Hornchurch and Harold Hill all blue. As part of the Light up London campaign to make the city dementia friendly, Tapestry will be lighting up the day centres, care workers will be dressing in blue and cake - with blue icing - will be shared.

London is an inclusive and compassionate city and by lighting up blue at Tapestry we show our support for people affected by dementia and their families. The pandemic has been hard on people with dementia and it is time to light up and blow the blues away. #LightUpLondon
