We are Hiring!

Tapestry Care UK are excited to offer new roles:

Minibus driver 0-35 hours per week

£18757.44 per annum, pro rata 6% non-contributory pension after 3 months.

We are seeking an enthusiastic driver to join our growing Minibus Transport service on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will assist clients to and from all Tapestry venues around the Borough and beyond.

Also, you will deliver our freshly prepared food to community clubs and events.

In addition, you will help with weekend trips in line with the transport policy, ensuring that the service provided to older and vulnerable adults meets Tapestry’s principles and standards, and any specific individual client needs.

Applicants must have a d1 driving licence

Experience with driving a 16-seater vehicle is desirable.

Sound organisational and interpersonal skills will be required

X2 Senior Support Workers - 30 hours a week 

£22,464.00 per annum, pro rata

6% non-contributory pension after 3 months

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our HüBs which will involve supporting a wide range of older adults, from very active to frail, and those living with dementia.

This varied role is to lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality person-centred care and activities within our HüBs.

Furthermore, you will be required to complete some administrative tasks using appropriate spreadsheets and documents.

Are you passionate about promoting the independence, well-being, and dignity of older and vulnerable adults, and improving their quality of life? If so, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible about the hours worked to respond to the needs of the service.

Tapestry Care Buddies – To provide personalised and individual support to our community.

The role delivers a variety of support that will enable a person to live independently to ensure they remain in their own home environment for as long as possible.

We are looking for 4 x Tapestry Buddies working Monday – Sunday £12.00 per hour

Tapestry will also:

  • Cover travel and mobile phone expenses.
  • Put in 6% toward pension after 3 months.
  • 5 weeks pro rota holiday a year.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for some of these roles.

    New Food Delivery Service - Tapestry's Food Delivery Service

    Tapestry established a new food delivery service in April 2020 to support older and disabled adults in Havering during the lockdown. The healthy hot meals, made fresh daily by our chefs are delivered to the homes of isolated people, which are in great demand. During that time Tapestry has cooked and delivered over 15,000 meals, and this service continues today.
